No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem: My Summer Essentials

With it being the middle of summer there are tons of lazy beach and lake days ahead of us, especially with the 4th of July just around the corner. Here are a couple of cute summer pieces perfect for wearing at the beach, pool, lake, or river.

Monogrammed PFG's are the perfect swimsuit coverups. They come in so many bright and fun colors and the monogram adds a girly personalized touch these manly fishing shirts.

The perfect pair of sunglasses will not only complete any summer outfit, but the are also essential for protecting you precious little eyes while spending all day outside! Sunglasses range in all types of styles and prices, so finding your perfect pair shouldn't be that hard.

Croakies are a huge necessity for summer, especially for frolicking in the ocean, boat rides, and all types of water sports. With the right pair of croakies the fear of losing you favorite pair of Ray-Bans is gone. My favorite pair by the brand cottonsnaps. They are super lightweight and are held together by magnets so they can be taken off way easier.

Koozies are great for keeping you drink cold and you hands wet on those hot summer days. Since I'm in college I have a million free koozies from school events and brand promotions, but my favorite koozie is still my Lilly Pulitzer one. They are so cute and what drink doesn't want to be wrapped in Lilly.

Leave me a comment and let me know what some of your summer essentials are! Thanks you so much for reading :)

Oversleeping and Chocolate Covered Strawberry Frappuccinos

Ugh, I overslept this morning. So that means that the dining hall was closed and I had already missed half of my biology lecture. Great, right? Since I was starving and needed a little pick-me-up I decided to go get some coffee, yay! Now instead of going to the Starbucks on my campus like a normal person I decided to walk the 5 minutes to downtown and go to cute little coffe shop I found over the weekend. This place is my new favorite hangout spot!! The shop itself feels so cozy and homey like a log cabin in the mountains. And they have a cute little fireplace that they turn on during the colder months, SCORE! So,because it's a little bit warmer than it was yesterday and I had on my thick jacket I decided to get a frappuccino. It wasn't my best idea, but the drink was delicious! Although I'm pretty sure I was shivering the whole time ;)

I got the chocolate covered strawberries frappuccino with a slice of Oreo cheesecake. The breakfast of champions, I know. But it was so good!! And I had to walk like half a mile there and back so I burned of most of the calories right?(Hahaha the things I tell myself to get through the day!)
Have you ever overslept? If so what did you do, go back to sleep, get ready super quickly, or go get yourself a treat like me?

P.S. Sorry for any typos and mistakes, I typed this on my phone! Yay for being tech-savvy
P.S.S. Do you like these kind updates? They kind of remind me of vlogs a little.

Chilly Fall Days OOTD

After having days of shorts, tank tops, and sandals weather, it was finally time to break out the boots and sweaters! Now, although the weather app on my iPhone says that its suppose to be around 78° for the rest of the week, a girl can dream right? Walking around campus I could definitely tell I wasn't the only one excited for the sudden cold weather. The sidewalks were laced with oversized sweaters, riding boots, top nots, leggings, Uggs, Starbucks lattes, and chunky scarves. I could see the joy bursting out of every girl I passed because with cold weather comes extremely cute yet super comfy and cozy outfits.

For my OOTD I went all out and jumped head first into the bucket of fall.

Forever21

The American flag scarf I own is actually from Rue21 but this scarf from Free People is very similar
I saw a tutorial for a DIY American flag scarf, comment down below if you would like for
me to recreate that DIY and post it on here.

I got my pearl earring years ago from Kmart but the ones they have now are
very similar to the ones I own.
(HINT: Kmart has great sales on their jewelry all the time! So if you are
looking for a major discount check at Kmart)

Comment down below and tell me some of you chilly day must haves!

September Favorites

Yay! September is over and October has finally come. October is my one of favorite months for MANY reasons:

1. HALLOWEEN
2. Corn Mazes
3. Haunted Houses
4. Hay Rides
5. State Fairs
6. Sweaters
7. Leggings
8. Boots
9. Scarves
10. Bonfires
11. Pumpkin Spice EVERYTHING

So now that you know all the reasons why I love October, lets get to the products I’ve loved during September.

 Monogrammed Book Bag

How cute is that turquoise on the black! Not only was this Nike book bag on sale (and has a lifetime warranty, SCORE) but also the monogram was only $8 from a local boutique! Perks of living in a college town? I definitely think so.

Flirty Rainbow Sandals in Dark Brown

Breaking these shoes is in is AWFUL but it is so worth it afterwards.  They are so versatile and the braided strap gives it a little bit of sass, which I love! They are also extremely comfortable after breaking them in.

Marilyn Monroe Clock

How fabulous is this Marilyn Monroe clock? Do you want to know what makes her even more fabulous? She was free! Yes you read that right, FREE. The Wal-Mart closest to my schools campus was having a back-to-school bash and with free food and prizes and I happened to win the wonderful gem.

Aussie Moist Conditioner

Now, I may be a little biased because I love aussie products, but boy does this stuff work! Not only does it leave your hair very moisturized, but it also leaves it soft, shiny, and an amazing smell. This has become my favorite conditioner at the moment (and all of my roommates!)

Camelbak Water Bottle

This water bottle is so stylish and easy to use! It makes drinking water so much easier. Also, since it's recyclable it's eco-friendly! You can either leave it plain or ad some stickers to make it more personalized.
